ROSEBURG LIBRARY TO HOST VIRTUAL AUTHOR VISIT

Roseburg Public Library invites the public to an event with former wildland firefighter and author Kelly Ramsey on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.

Ramsey will visit on Zoom and attendees are invited to participate in person at the library on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, or on the library’s Facebook page at: www.faceboook.com/roseburglibrary. A Facebook account is not required.

Ramsey is the author of “Wildfire Days” A Woman, A Hotshot Crew and the Burning American West”, a memoir centered on her experience as a wildland firefighter based in Northen California. Ramsey’s writing has appeared in The Washington Post, Sierra, Electric Literature and other publications.

Copies of “Wildfire Days” are available for check out in physical format at the library, and as digital books and audiobooks on Libby and CloudLibrary.
