Roseburg Police jailed a man for a failure to appear warrant on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 6;00 a.m. the 39-year-old was spotted digging in a dumpster at a store in the 1000 block of West Harvard Avenue. Officers knew the man had the warrant for his arrest. It was confirmed and he was taken into custody. The man was detained on $5,000 bail and was released later in the day.
