ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED HARASSMENT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported harassment incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:20 a.m. the 29-year-old approached a juvenile outside the Woolley Center in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street and allegedly made inappropriate comments. A victim attempted to intervene, and the man reportedly proceeded to spit on her twice. The suspect was contacted a short time later and was taken into custody. He was charged with harassment. Bail was set at $2,500.
