Tuesday is election day in Oregon.
In Douglas County, voters will weigh in on races for all three County Commissioner positions. Incumbent Chris Boice has four challengers while Tom Kress and Tim Freeman each have three opponents.
Voters in the City of Sutherlin will consider a proposal to roll back the current city public safety fee.
In Myrtle Creek, there is a charter amendment proposal. If passed it would allow the city administrator to live within the 97457-zip code area. The current charter mandates that the administrator live within the city limits.
Voters in the Days Creek Rural Fire District will decide on a five year tax levy proposal which would increase property taxes for five years to raise additional funds to help operate the district.
County races for the Oregon State Legislator find all incumbents unopposed in the primary.
Oregonians will decide which two candidates for Governor will face off in November. Incumbent Democrat Tina Kotek faces a list of largely unknown challengers, while Republicans have a number of candidates, with three leading current polling.
