Roseburg Police cited a man for a criminal count of prohibited camping on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 6:20 p.m. the 42-year-old was contacted because he was camping in a restricted area and outside the allowed time. This was at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. The man had two prior camping convictions.

He was released after the citation was issued.
