Roseburg Police cited a driver following an injury crash on Monday afternoon.
An RPD report said at 2:15 p.m. an 84-year-old woman was exiting a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway and intended to turn left onto Stewart Parkway. The woman did not see a second vehicle that was traveling south in the outside lane of Stewart Parkway. The first driver’s vehicle smashed into the side of the second vehicle, which pushed it into the northbound lanes of the road. While still traveling south, the second vehicle collided with a third vehicle as it was traveling northbound in the inside lane of Stewart Parkway.
The first driver suffered a cut above her right eye. The third driver complained of shoulder pain while both occupants in the second vehicle said that they were uninjured. All three vehicles appeared to have been totaled. The woman who caused the wreck was cited for failure to yield before entering a roadway.
