Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:20 p.m. officers contacted the 32-year-old and a protected person at River Front Park in the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. Dispatch advised and confirmed that the man had an active warrant out of the Oregon State Parole Board for absconding. Additionally, a stipulation of his parole is that he have no contact with the woman who was with him. A detainer was authorized and the man was taken into custody without incident. He was held without bail and was released on Thursday.
