Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged criminal trespass incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 7:20 p.m. the 57-year-old was allegedly observed drinking an open beer at Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street. That location is in the downtown exclusion zone. Upon checking with dispatch, it was confirmed that the man was a city exclusion violator. He was detained without incident. Bail was set at $1,250. The man was also cited for drinking in public.
