Jerry Bruce Community Campus Non-Profit Partners will hold their annual spring fair and charity golf scramble this weekend.
A release said the partner organizations are Family Development Center, The FISH Food Pantry, Umpqua Homes Inc., United Community Action Network and Aviva Health.
The fourth annual Spring Fair will be on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Aviva Health, just north of Costco in Roseburg. For a third year in a row, event organizers are also holding a charity golf scramble on Sunday with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start at Bar Run Golf and RV Resort, northwest of Roseburg.
Proceeds from the events, whose sponsors include Umpqua Health, Oregon Pacific Bank, CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center, the Rotary Club of Roseburg, and Rogue Credit Union, will benefit JBCC partner organization the United Community Action Network.
The Spring Fair features fun, free activities for children and adults, including the Thundering Water WOW Truck, balloon arts, face painting, henna tattoos, and food trucks offering snacks, meals and drinks for purchase.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Rotary Club of Roseburg, children attending the Spring Fair will receive a ticket for a free meal from the food truck of their choice, while supplies last.
Sunday’s golf scramble will offer cash prizes to the top three low-score teams. Spots in the tournament are still available, and individuals can register online at: www.birdease.com/jbcccharitygolf.
