Roseburg Police jailed a man for a drug possession warrant on Monday.

An RPD report said at 7:50 a.m. the 45-year-old was contacted because he was camping in a restricted area at River Front Park in the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. The suspect also allegedly had a bullwhip, which is a restricted weapon.

The man was arrested on the warrant out of the Winston Police Department. Bail was set at $50,000. He was cited for prohibited camping and for possession of a restricted weapon in the park.
