Roseburg Police jailed a man for littering near waters and prohibited camping on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 8:30 a.m. the 57-year-old was contacted at a camp in Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street, because it was surrounded by a substantial amount of trash. He was taken into custody. Bail was set at $2,500.

The man was also cited for having prohibited weapons and tools in the park.
