A transient was jailed for a warrant on Thursday morning.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 9;25 a.m. a deputy saw the 47-year-old walking near the intersection of South Old Pacific Highway and Rose Avenue in the Myrtle Creek area. He knew the man had an active warrant for second-degree disorderly conduct. It was confirmed by dispatch. The man was detained on $2,500 bail.
