ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving while suspended on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:10 p.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old in the 2400 block of Northwest Troost Street. His driving status was suspended at the misdemeanor level. The man admitted to driving and a witness corroborated this. A detainer was authorized.

The man was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with driving while suspended-misdemeanor and for a probation violation. Bail was set at $6,250. The man was released later in the day.
