COUNTY SOLID WASTE HOSTING FREE HOUSEHOLD ELECTRONICS E-CYCLE EVENT

The Douglas County Solid Waste Department is teaming up with St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County and Oregon E-Cycles to host a free to the public electronics e-cycling event in Roseburg on Saturday from 10:00 am. to 2:00 p.m.

A county release said it will take place at the Roseburg Transfer Station located on West McLain Avenue, just off Interstate Five, south of Roseburg. The event is open to all county residents and small businesses. Anyone with more than seven devices to e-Cycle should contact St. Vincent de Paul prior to the event at 541-513-4288.

E-Cycling is the recycling of old electronics. Devices that will be accepted at the event include computers, laptops, tablets, TVs, printers, monitors, keyboards, mice, networking devices, scanners, fax machines, VCRs and DVD players, cable and satellite equipment, stereo and audio components and more.
