SHOWERS WEDNESDAY BEFORE THINGS DRY OUT FOR A FEW DAYS

More showers are expected in the Umpqua Valley on Wednesday, before things dry out late Wednesday night through early Sunday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the region will be between weather systems Thursday through late Saturday. Friday will be the warmest day of the week, with highs in the low 70’s possible, before cooling slightly on Saturday. Some rain will return Sunday and Monday, though precipitation amounts are expected to be light. More warm weather will be back starting Tuesday.

The mercury reached 59 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Tuesday. 0.40 inches of rain was recorded.
