Douglas County Gardeners will host the largest one-day plant sale in southern Oregon, on Saturday May 2nd.
It will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Building at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Oregon State University Extension Agent Logan Bennett said this year’s event will offer an exciting day for plant lovers, home gardeners and anyone looking to spruce up the landscape. Bennett said the sale will feature 52 vendors offering a wide variety of gardening goods including plants, native species, fertilizer, compost, garden art and more. In addition, Douglas County Master Gardeners will have thousands of plants available for purchase, giving shoppers an unmatched selection for spring planting.
Admission is $3 for adults. Children under age 12 get in for free.
