Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Monday.

An RPD report said at 10:20 a.m. the 55-year-old was contacted inside of his tent that was set up along the South Umpqua River at Fir Grove Park in the 2000 block of Stewart Park Drive. Camping is never allowed at this location due to its proximity to the South Umpqua River and the soccer fields.

The man was released after his citation was issued.
