Roseburg Police cited a woman Monday for a reported prior theft incident.

An RPD report said just after 9:15 p.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old regarding a previous case at a store in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway where the woman had allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise.

The suspect admitted to attempting to steal merchandise and driving her vehicle with a suspended license. Officers met with the woman at her home and issued citations for second-degree theft and a criminal count of driving while suspended or revoked.
