ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported disorderly conduct incident on Friday morning.

An RPD report said just before 11:30 a.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old at the Oregon Employment Department Office in the 800 block of Southeast Pine Street. The man had entered the office, held a knife to his own throat and stated that he was going to “rob the world”. During the contact, the man was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest out of the Oregon State Parole Board. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections. The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and for the warrant. Bail was set at $2,500.
