Sutherlin Police jailed a man for violation of a release agreement early Friday morning.

An SPD report said at 12:25 a.m. the 19-year-old was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of South Comstock Road and East Central Avenue. It was found that he was court ordered not to have contact with the passenger in his vehicle. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The man was detained without bail.
