FROST ADVISORY THROUGH 9:00 A.M. FRIDAY

A Frost Advisory is in effect through 9:00 a.m. Friday for central Douglas County and the south-central Oregon Coast.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said temperatures below 36 degrees will result in frost formation.

The Advisory area includes the valleys of Douglas and Coos counties. It applies to Roseburg, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Camas Valley, Winston, Elkton, Sutherlin, Canyonville, Myrtle Creek and surrounding areas.

Forecasters said frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
