Roseburg Police jailed a man for an unlawful entry incident on Monday.
An RPD report said 8:35 a.m. 52-year-old Michael Rushing was allegedly seen on camera attempting to enter the front door of a residence in the 1700 block of Northwest Goetz Street. Rushing then reportedly entered the front yard of the home. It was later discovered that Rushing had entered a vehicle on the property and allegedly taken a work badge.
The suspect was located and admitted to everything. A detainer was issued for his arrest as well. Rushing was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft and for a parole violation. Bail was set at $2,500.
