A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle early Sunday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 1:20 a.m. officers responded to the collision in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street. Officers learned that a Sutherlin woman was driving her vehicle southbound when it struck the 30-year-old man, who was crossing the roadway at a place with no crosswalk or signal. It was determined that the driver was not at fault, nor were intoxicants a factor. The man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center before being transported to an out of area medical facility.
