COOLER WEATHER COMING TO THE UMPQUA VALLEY

Cooler weather is coming to the Umpqua Valley this week.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that a new weather system will move into the area late Tuesday and linger through Thursday. It will bring rain, with the largest amount expected to be near three quarters of an inch on Wednesday. The snow level will drop to near 2,000 feet leading to frosty overnight lows in the mid 30’s on Wednesday and Thursday.  Warmer weather is expected to start on Friday.
