Roseburg Police jailed a man for two counts of failure to register as a sex offender on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 6:30 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue. A 25-year-old was identified as the driver and was found to be out of compliance with his sex offender registration. The man was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with both a felony and a misdemeanor count of the crime. The man was detained without bail.
