A pickup crashed into a power pole in the Elkton area on Monday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 5:20 p.m. a deputy responded to the wreck in the 600 block of Rover Road. The deputy learned that the driver, a Eugene man, was having a medical emergency while driving, which resulted in the accident. The driver was treated by medical personnel. There was little damage to the vehicle and the power pole.
