Roseburg had a near record high temperate for the date on Monday and tied Sunday for the second hottest day in 2026 so far.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 81 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record high for April 6th is 82 degrees, set in 2016. That 81-degree temperature equaled the high on Sunday and was only a degree under the hottest high temperature for this year, which was 82 degrees, set on March 18th.

Forecasters said high temperatures will cool to around 70 degrees through Friday. There is a chance of rain beginning Thursday night.
