A Frost Advisory is in effect for early Friday in central Douglas County.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said temperatures as low as 32 degrees will result in frost formation.
The Advisory is in place from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and includes Roseburg, Sutherlin, Elkton, Drain and Camas Valley. Some of the typical spots south of Canyonville, like Glendale, Azalea and Tiller could be as low as 30 degrees.
Forecasters said frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. Residents should take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
