Roseburg Police cited two people for walking on the railroad tracks on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at approximately 11:15 a.m. officers contacted the pair in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street when they were seen walking on the tracks. Both people said they did not know it was a crime to walk on the tracks, though they passed multiple “No Trespassing” signs.

They were cited with first-degree criminal trespass and were released on the scene.
