Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 11:10 a.m. officers contacted the 31-year-old in Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. The man was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest out of Douglas County Community Corrections. He was also found to be in possession of a machete and a throwing star, in violation of city ordinance.

He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The man was detained without bail and was released later on Tuesday.
