Roseburg Police cited a man for unlawful possession of inhalants on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 2:30 a.m. officers contacted the 22-year-old after he was called in as a potential DUII in the parking lot of a motel in the 3100 block of Northwest Aviation Drive. During the contact, officers observed that the man had a large canister of nitrous oxide. The man admitted to inhaling from the canister, however he claimed that the last time had been several hours prior to being contacted. The man was cited and then released.
