Roseburg Police charged a man with third-degree criminal mischief and offensive littering early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 4:30 a.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old outside a store in the 1500 block of West Harvard Avenue. The man had reportedly taken all the cardboard out of a trash bin and scattered it around the parking lot of the business. The man did not admit to committing the crime, but officers reviewed video footage and confirmed that the suspect was the person involved in the incident. Bail was set at $2,500.
