Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged DUII crash on Monday night.
An RPD report said at 10:45 p.m. the 26-year-old crashed his vehicle into a fence and another vehicle near the intersection of Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Polk Avenue. The man had a passenger in the vehicle during the incident. During contact, officers noticed signs of impairment. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly.
The man, identified as Juan Gomez Jimenz, was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, and failure to perform the duties of a driver with property damage. Gomez Jiminez was detained on $28,750 bail.
