MYRTLE CREEK MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED PRIOR BURGLARY

A Myrtle Creek man was jailed Friday for an alleged prior burglary.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said an investigation began on February 26th with an alleged burglary at a storage facility in the 1600 block of Green Siding Road in the Green District. A deputy developed leads and suspects and identified two people as complicit.

On Friday, a 43-year-old was taken into custody and charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree theft. He was detained without bail. Additional arrests are pending in the case.
