Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported disorderly conduct incident on Sunday night.

An RPD report said at 10:10 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Southeast Main Street after multiple people called dispatch regarding the 43-year-old allegedly breaking the windows to his apartment and being disorderly. The suspect refused to speak with officers during the first contact.

Officers were then called back to the home approximately ten minutes later because another person called dispatch to say the suspect was outside breaking windows and they thought the man had shot a firearm out the front of the apartment. Officers arrived to find shattered glass and personal items strewn about the complex. The man ran from his residence but ended up walking back to officers on Southeast Main Street, where he was detained. No firearms were located inside or outside of the apartment.

The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $6,250.
