Roseburg Police charged a man with multiple sex crimes on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 11:00 p.m. officers responded to a motel in the 3100 block of Northwest Aviation Drive after a juvenile female ran to the front desk and informed them that she had been in contact with an adult male inside of a room.

Officers arrived on the scene and contacted the victim who said that 32-year-old Johnny Walker had provided her with alcohol and then performed a sexual act on her. Officers also located Snapchat messages between the two indicating that Walker had offered the victim money in exchange for sexually explicit photos.

Upon contact, Walker admitted to providing the alcohol, but denied any sexual contact. Officers looked through the man’s phone and located the messages that the juvenile had in her possession that were deleted from his phone.

Walker was charged with second-degree sex abuse, online sexual corruption of a child, and furnishing alcohol to a minor. He was detained without bail.
