Sutherlin Police jailed a man for unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Sunday.

An SPD report said at 3:15 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Blossom Court after a caller said there was a disturbance at that location. During the contact officers found that the 45-year-old was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody and also charged with first-degree disorderly conduct. The man was detained without bail.
