COLD FRONT WITH LIGHT RAIN COMING, FOLLOWED BY HIGH PRESSURE

A cold front is coming to the Umpqua Valley on Tuesday bringing light rain before warmer weather returns later in the week.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that precipitation amounts Tuesday into Wednesday will be minimal. A ridge of high pressure is expected to move in on Thursday. It should strengthen Friday through Sunday with temperatures of around 70 degrees in the forecast.

For Monday, partly sunny conditions and highs in the mid-60s are expected.

The high temperature at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Sunday was 60 degrees.  Saturday the mercury reached 63 degrees with a trace of precipitation recorded.
