A Roseburg woman was jailed following an alleged reckless driving incident on Friday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 7:30 p.m. 38-year-old Alicia Pettit allegedly drove at a high rate of speed and ran two red lights after seeing a deputy make a U-turn to stop her in the 400 block of West Harvard Avenue. Methamphetamine was allegedly located in her handbag during a search. Pettit’s parole officer authorized an after-hours detainer. She was charged with reckless driving, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation. Pettit was detained without bail.
