One vehicle rear-ended a second vehicle in Southeast Roseburg on Thursday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said at 4:45 p.m. officers responded to the crash near the intersection of Southeast Douglas Avenue and Southeast Claire Street. The driver who caused the crash told officers that his vehicle had accidentally hit the second vehicle. His insurance coverage had lapsed. The man was cited for following too closely and driving uninsured.

Neither vehicle was severely damaged and tow companies were not needed.
