The City of Roseburg Homeless Commission will meet at a new time starting on Monday, April 6th.

The commission will now meet at 1:15 p.m. on the first Monday of each month in the city council chambers on Southeast Douglas Avenue.
Serving in an advisory capacity to the city council, the commission researches and discusses current practices to address the needs of Roseburg’s homeless population.
The Homeless Commission now consists of seven members: Three at-large members who live or work in the Roseburg School District; three members representing Adapt Integrated Health Care, Aviva Health and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians, and the commission chair, who is a city councilor.
The commission makes recommendations to the council in an effort to address the needs of homeless people, reviews contracts and working relationships with private and public service agencies and takes comments involving homeless issues from the public and local businesses.
