ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for driving while suspended late Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at approximately 5:40 p.m. officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Douglas Avenue. The SUV’s registration had been expired since September of 2025. The woman told officers that she was suspended and dispatch advised that she was suspended at the felony level for DUII.

The woman was taken into custody without incident and was detained without bail. A family member took possession of the vehicle.
