Roseburg Police cited a man for unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 p.m. officers contacted the 32-year-old at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street, after witnessing him smoke from a glass pipe. The man was detained and officers seized the pipe, which had suspected methamphetamine inside. The suspect admitted the pipe was his and said it contained the drug. He was released after the citation was issued.
