Both drivers were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon.
A Roseburg Police Department report said at 4:45 p.m. officers responded to the wreck at the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard.
During the investigation, officers found the first driver was southbound on Stephens Street and was turning left onto Diamond Lake Boulevard at a flashing yellow light. The 90-year-old woman reportedly did not yield the right of way and her pickup subsequently collided with a sedan which was headed northbound on Stephens Street and had a green light.
The first driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for complaints of pain in her nose and left arm. The second driver went to the hospital due to complaints of pain in her right knee.
The driver who caused the crash was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Afternoon commute traffic was slowed for a time due to the accident.
