Sutherlin Police jailed a man on the charge of fourth-degree assault on Sunday.

An SPD report said at 3:00 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Northeast Fourth Avenue. It was found that a 26-year-old had assaulted a victim during an argument, causing minor injuries. The man was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $6,250.
