Roseburg Police jailed two people for drug law violations on Wednesday evening.
An RPD report said at 8:20 p.m. an officer contacted a 23-year-old woman on a traffic stop near the intersection of Southeast Lane Avenue and Southeast Fullerton Street. The officer reportedly saw a Ziploc baggy of a crystal-like substance in the vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle allegedly started to conceal items. Both women were detained. The Ziploc bag reportedly contained 18 grams of methamphetamine. In addition, the passenger had a warrant for her arrest.
The driver was charged with unlawful manufacture and possession of methamphetamine. She was detained without bail. The passenger was detained for the warrant. She was cited for unlawful possession of fentanyl and unlawful possession of a forged instrument. Bail was set at $30,000. The woman was released on Thursday morning.
