VERY LIGHT RAIN AMOUNTS EXPECTED THIS WEEK

March 10, 2026 4:00 a.m.

Very light rainfall amounts are expected in the Umpqua Valley for much of this week.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg area is stuck at the top of a high-pressure system. That means that moisture in the region is generally going around the Umpqua Valley and having more impact in other locations.

Afternoon high temperatures will remain below normal Tuesday but are forecast to reach normal levels for this time of year starting on Wednesday. Late Friday through early Saturday is slated to see .10 to :20 inches of rain, the heaviest amount for the week.

Monday’s high temperature at the Roseburg Regional Airport was 54 degrees. 58 degrees is the normal high for this week in March.
