Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a warrant on Thursday.

An SPD report said just before 10:00 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of South Calapooia Street and West Everett Avenue. The driver was found to be a 44-year-old who had a valid felony warrant out of the Oregon State Police Parole Board for absconding.

He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The man was detained without bail and was released on Friday morning.
