ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR WARRANTS

Roseburg Police jailed a man for warrants on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 4:45 p.m. officer contacted the 62-year-old in the 400 block of Southeast Jackson Street. They knew he had warrants from Douglas County Circuit Court and RPD. Dispatch confirmed the warrants and the man was taken into custody without incident. Once at corrections, deputies reportedly located a user amount of methamphetamine in the man’s possession.

He was detained on $24,750 bail. The man was cited for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
