Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a warrant late Thursday afternoon.

An SPD report said at 5:15 p.m. officers had contact with a 30-year-old while he was attending a court appearance in the 100 block of East Everette Avenue. The man was found to have a valid misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The man was detained without bail.
